Adventures of a rare book dealer (and former small bookshop owner).

End of Week Roundup

Note that this blog has moved. The new URL is biblioblography.briancassidy.net. Please update your bookmarks.

Some miscellaneous links I’ve been meaning to post, but haven’t gotten around to. First, the 33 1/3 Odyssey is “one reader’s quest to read all 55 (and counting) of these things, and to scribble some impressions of each.” Bauman’s Rare Books (in a simply brilliant move, in my opinion) opens a branch in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, over at Bookslut, Len Bracken offers On Collecting Picabia’s Writings and the Translation of His Major Poetry and Manifestos. And though it’s been linked-to elsewhere, if you check out only one cool thing on the web today, you could do a lot worse than Stefanie Posavec’s stunning visual representations (think Edward Tufte) of Kerouac’s ON THE ROAD.
